Andrew McRitchie
Director & Player Manager

With over 20 years experience in the Sports Management game, Andrew McRitchie is the brains behind the creation of Helix Player Management. The Helix model was not created by Andrew and his board to become the biggest, but rather the best. Andrew believes in keeping Helix personal, with an open door policy to Helix players, their families and clients alike.

  • Worked at the SACA for 7 years across development and schools programs
  • Established Impact Sports Management in 1999 – designed to provide professional program development to sports/schools/ clubs
  • Was bought out by athletes1 in 2001 and became a director of the Australian Business alongside Matthew Richardson, David Ligertwood and Rick Olarenshaw
  • Launched the X-Sports Program into schools in South Australia in 2002 with sponsorship from MILO – seeing over 25,000 school kids annually.
  • Internationally Renowned Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy was launched in the summer of 2005/06 – with one of the first scholars being Monty Panesar.
  • 2007 – athletes1 was acquired by the Essentially Group – who’s chairman was prominent Formula 1 Lawyer Sir John Byfield
  • 2008 – the essentially group was responsible for signing over 75% of the International Players into the newly formed Indian Premier League
  • Became one of the first ACA Accredited Cricket Agents. Helped establish an Accreditation Board and was an initial Board Member.
  • 2013 – the essentially group was acquired by CSM Sport & Entertainment, one of the worlds largest Sports and Entertainment agencies
  • 2018 – Helix was born, with Directors being Andrew O’Shea, Alex Cook, Darren Lehmann and Andrew McRitchie

Katherine Grantham
Business Development Manager
Player Manager

From a family of elite athletes and a love for the world of sport, health and the fitness industry; coupled with her experience of business development, business ownership, public speaking, personal development and events, Katherine is now the Business Development Manager & a Player Manager at Helix Player Management.

  • Grew up surrounded by elite athletes, with two Australian representative Basketball players as parents and an ABA and American College Basketballer for a brother.
  • Played state level netball and was a member of the SASI development team for rowing.
  • Following in the footsteps of her mother who has been the CEO of multiple sporting organisations across Australia
  • Extremely passionate about female athletes and women in sport
  • A huge advocate for putting importance on life after sport and preventing mental illness in our Australian retired sports women and men.
  • Has performed multiple keynote speaking engagements, to crowds upwards of 100 listeners.
  • Co-founded and directed a self development and mentoring business named The Own It Project in 2013 and worked within sporting teams, schools and corporates for 4 years.
  • Is completing her ACA & AFLPA accreditations in 2019

Lochie Delbridge
Sales and Marketing Coordinator

In the office, Lochie is the Sales and Marketing co-ordinator looking after all things business – whilst also helping with player management duties. Outside of the office, he is a keen junior sports coach in both AFL and rowing.

  • Graduate from Bond University with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in marketing and management.
  • Has completed internships with Port Adelaide Football Club, Gold Coast SUNS, Tennis Australia, Football Queensland and AFL Queensland.
  • Originally from Adelaide and attended Prince Alfred College where he played AFL, soccer, cricket, rowing, rugby union and baseball
  • Has always had a huge interests in all sports
